About the Role

Our client is a tier-1 family owned Australian business founded in 1916 and has been paving the way ever since. Their company is built on the core values of Service, Reliability and Quality. They boast offices in all Australian capital cities and their portfolio of projects is equally as impressive. Their switchboards have been recognised by the National Electrical and Communication Association for excellence recognised both at state and national level.

We are looking for both Mechanical and Electrical Trade Assistants to assist the Electricians and Welders with the assembly and production of industrial switchboards. Our client is one of few companies capable of supplying a wide range of modular and custom-built High Voltage and Low Voltage switchboards including Motor Control Centres, Power Switchboards and High Voltage Switchboards as well as Distribution Switchboards and Control Panels for industrial, commercial and Defence applications.

These are ongoing roles offering 40 hours a week with a high probability of overtime including Saturday work.


Skills and Experience

• Previous Trade Assistant experience highly regarded
• Being mechanical minded
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Willingness to learn and try new things
• Strong commitment to OH&S
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screening
