Truck Mechanic

Immediate start for experienced Truck Mechanics to join a market leading, AXS listed company.

2022 has seen an increase in our clients production and therefore an increase in workshop requirements. Positions are now available for 2 x Truck Mechanics to join their team on a family Friendly 9/5 roster.

About the roles
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on prime movers, trailers and plant heavy equipment including: Wheeled loaders, Wheeled and tracked bunchers, CAT and Tigercat Skidders and Peterson 5000H chippers.
• All positions are casual to begin with, with the view to full time permanent positions If that is what you are wanting.
• Flights, meals and pristine camp accommodation supplied.
• Great camp accommodation.
• 12 hours shifts, working a 9/5 roster.

Skills and qualifications
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (HD Diesel Mechanic or Equivalent) - Qualifications are preferred but not essential. If you are an LV Mechanic with extensive Diesel experience, we want to hear from you.
• High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong safety focus - Actively participate and support safety initiatives and strategies.
• Demonstrated experience working in a heavy vehicle workshop environment.
• A motivated work ethic with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Not scared to get in and get your hands dirty.
