Employment: Labour Hire through Red Appointments
Pay: Flat Hourly rate plus Super (competitive rate on offer dependent on experience)
Attractive Roster: 8/6 (Fly in Wednesday, fly out the following Wednesday)
Arrangement: Paid flights (ex: Adelaide only), paid (camp) accommodation
Working days: 12-hour days (5am to 5pm)
Duration: Immediate start - 6-month duration (potentially longer)
Key focus of the role:
- Coordinate the work of up to ten Tier One contractors (mechanical/electrical and instrumentation trades) for the commissioning of an underground pump station project and associated equipment
- Support and contribute to all commissioning duties to ensure complete operational readiness to move to handover stage
Skills and experience required:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or trade qualified (Mechanical Fitter/Fitter and Turner)
- Previous experience in commissioning heavy industrial and/or mine site (ideally underground) projects
- Previous experience specifically commissioning pump station projects is highly desirable
- Current drivers' licence
You will be immediately available or very soon to come to the end of a contract/project, ready to start a new work opportunity and able to commit for at least 6 months duration
