Are you passionate about protecting water quality and supporting remote communities? Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our client's team in Darwin. About the Role
As the Water Quality Support Officer, you'll contribute to monitoring and reporting on regulatory compliance for drinking water and wastewater services. You'll work closely with internal teams, contractors, and laboratories to support licencing obligations and help deliver high-quality services to both urban and remote communities.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing licence applications, monitoring reports, and risk assessments.
• Support implementation of water and wastewater monitoring programs
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyse data to inform performance and compliance reporting.
• Conduct site visits to urban and remote locations across the NT

What You'll Bring
Essential:
• A relevant 3-4-year degree in Science, Engineering, or Environmental Management (Australian-recognised)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive working relationships.
• NT Driver's Licence (or ability to obtain)
• Knowledge of Australian Drinking Water Guidelines and ANZ Water Quality Guidelines
• Experience in water/wastewater monitoring and reporting
• Strong data analysis and time management skills
Desirable:
• Ability to simplify and communicate technical information clearly.
• Understanding of NT water industry legislation and regulations
