About the Role
Our client is on the lookout for a motivated and organised Workshop Administrator to join our team in Berrimah, NT. In this full-time role, you'll provide key administrative support to our busy workshop and handle purchasing duties to keep everything running smoothly.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide general admin support to managers and team members, including filing and data entry.
- Raise purchase orders based on supplier quotes and preferred suppliers.
- Coordinate timely delivery and collection of parts with the team.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Maintain accurate maintenance service records in the system.
- Learn and adapt to company databases and changes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
What you need to succeed
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar admin or purchasing role, preferably in a workshop or industrial setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and inventory management software.
- A positive, customer-focused attitude and a keen eye for detail.
- Team player with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
What We Offer
- $75,000 - $90,000 per year + super (depending on experience)
