Red Appointments are seeking a Fire Engineer/Compliance Officer for a full time and permanent opportunity based in Adelaide commencing in February 2026.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
Manage auditing, compliance, and the overall smooth operation for fire safety across a range of sites based primarily in metropolitan Adelaide, with additional locations across South Australia. Regular travel is required, and a company vehicle is included as part of the package.
What you'll do:
- Manage fire and life safety systems across multiple sites
- Ensure compliance with legislation and national standards
- Conduct risk assessments and fire safety surveys
- Develop policies, procedures, and deliver training
- Respond to emergencies and provide expert support
What we're looking for:
- Degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering or related field, and Professional accreditation
- Experience in fire safety (Defence or high-security preferred)
- Experience in conducting fire safety surveys and related risk assessments
- Ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance
