About the Company:

Position Overview:
As a Metering Data Provisions Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate provision of metering data and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a short term temp role to 30 June 2024.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule meter readings for the NT Region, ensuring accurate updates and maintenance of meter details and data.
  • Meet deadlines for non-cyclic activities, including re-energising and de-energising power.
  • Action special reads and cycle readings on time, managing exceptions effectively.
  • Report meter data provision to stakeholders.
  • Provide high-quality customer service, responding to service requests, queries, and complaints promptly.
  • Support team members and contract field staff in investigations and operations.
  • Report any suspected meter tampering, hazardous installations, or access problems.
  • Enter meter data and fees to meet strict deadlines.
  • Participate in the review, development, and implementation of metering services procedures and policies.

About You:
The successful Candidate must be able to demonstrate the following criteria;
  • Experience managing large data files, including accurate volume data entry.
  • Clear articulate communication, demonstrated customer services skills and impeccable phone manner.
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure and constraints.
  • Commitment to the contract term 30 June 2024.
  • Operational experience with multiple computer-based customer, meter, and/or asset information systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, prioritise work, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in a utility environment (desirable).

Benefits & Culture
  • Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week
  • $46.34 p/hr + Super
  • Immediate start contract term to 30 June 2024
