Our client is a privately owned NFP WA Aboriginal organisation based in Port Hedland delivering services to communities around property management, environmental health, municipal services, and the provision of maintenance and essential services. They are currently seeking a skilled FIFO Electrician with experience in water treatment plants, chlorinator pumps and bores to join their crew on a 3:2 roster for immediate start.

Position Overview
Comprising a 2-man water crew and working a FIFO 3:2 roster alongside a Plumber / Fitter your prime objective will be the maintenance and upkeep of water treatment assets that serve the southern run of Aboriginal communities in the Pilbara region and its surroundings.

Your diverse tasks will encompass service maintenance, repairs, inspections, and more including;

• Servicing generators, RO plants, chlorinators, and UV systems.
• Maintaining equipment compounds.
• Participating in small project installations.
• Executing preventative maintenance measures.

You'll have the support of Supervisors who monitor both power and water systems, offering assistance for general inquiries, information, and addressing breakdowns. Accommodation is provided including a $90 per day LAFA. Each crew travels in a well-equipped Landcruiser, equipped with two fridges, cooking gear, bottled water, first aid kits, and satellite tracking with a messaging system for breakdown notifications.

What You Will Bring...
To excel in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and attributes:

• WA Electrical License
• Current Driver's licence
• CPR / LVR Certification
• Motivation and Positive Attitude
• FIFO Experience: Familiarity with remote work and living in Western Australia.
• Immediate Availability
• Police Clearance
• Strong Work Ethic: Along with a good sense of humour for the long drives between communities.
• Experience in pumps, water treatment systems and bores
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive without consistent WIFI or mobile service, as some desert communities may have limited connectivity at times.
