Overview
Join the team Power Station team in Alice Springs, where you'll provide invaluable technical expertise in mechanical maintenance. Your role will encompass both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of critical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) processes and procedures
• Maintain gas/diesel reciprocating engines and electricity generation equipment
• Investigate critical plant incidents and complete technical reports
• Follow manufacturer's maintenance procedures
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and participate in housekeeping duties
• Contribute to on-call roster and travel to other stations as required
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality policies
About You…
The successful Candidate must be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria;
• Mechanical Fitter or Diesel Mechanic trade qualifications
• Current full NT driver's license
• Extensive experience in maintaining gas/diesel reciprocating engines
• Ability to perform detailed fault-finding and work within permit to work systems
• Proficiency in reading technical documents and procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills and competency in workplace safety
Desirable:
• High Risk Licences (CSE, forklift, working at heights, EWP), current senior first aid
• Current gas fitter type B certification
• Contractor management and supervision experience
Benefits & Culture
• Salary of $85, 651-$109,350 per annum (depending on experience)

• 6-weeks annual leave
• Relocation assistance outside of Alice Springs up to 10-weeks
