Project Coordinator / Senior Executive Assistant

• Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week
• $50-$55 per hour

About the Role
Providing senior-level support to GM and Project Manager to assist delivery and monitoring of department projects for continuous school and system improvement.

  • Prepare and contribute to project documentation, ministerial briefings, strategic reporting and general departmental correspondence.
  • Provide high-level support to governance committees and project boards, including preparation and review of agendas, complex papers and promptly circulating agreed actions.
  • Provide support and advice to business teams to facilitate the development and implementation of strategies and policy.
  • Cultivate and foster collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Experience
  • 3-5 years' experience as a Project Coordinator or Executive Assistant.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven track record in meeting deadlines and managing projects efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Effective interaction with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Desirable
  • Equiv. experience to or holds an Advanced Diploma in Project Management and/or Government Contract Management and/or NTG Program Evaluation Framework.
  • Certified in project management disciplines (eg Prince2, PMBOK)
  • Intermediate-to-executive level experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Project and Visio.

Must hold a current Working with Children Clearance Notice (Ochre Card).
