Pay: Hourly rate of pay (competitive rate on offer dependent on experience)
Hours: Flexible: 8am to 9am start, 4pm to 5pm finish
Duration: Immediate start - and circa 1 year duration anticipated requirement
Location: Onsite Parking - located Northern suburbs, circa 15 mins from Adelaide CBD.
This opportunity is based in our client's Research and Development Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and implement projects to improve the quality of the manufactured product to ultimately maximise the customer experience and reduce service call outs.
- Be involved in all areas of the life cycle to improve quality from design stage, modifications, manufacturability, and productivity, positively influence timelines, progress tracking, testing, and implementing pilot series.
Skills and experience required:
- Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical)
- Experience in Design for Assembling and Manufacturing (3D design tools, CATIA experience preferred)
- Project Management experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including metal forming, injection moulding, die casting and assembling
- Knowledge of quality tools - FMEAs (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
- CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) knowledge
