About the company
Our client, who is a government owned corporation, and produces the majority of the electricity to the people of the Northern Territory are seeking a Senior ICT Services Officer for a period of 18-mths.

About the role...
Join our team as a Senior ICT Officer and take charge of ensuring the effective delivery of ICT services and technologies to meet our business requirements. Your role will encompass providing technical and operational advice and support, with a focus on aligning with our business objectives.

• Supporting the business objectives by managing the provision of technical and operational ICT advice and support.
• Developing, reviewing, and implementing policies and procedures related to mobile and other ICT technologies.
• Managing the provision of ICT technologies across Territory Generation.
• Providing training and support to our staff in utilising ICT systems and technologies effectively.
• Advocating for the use of self-service tools among staff and providing guidance on email, internet, and desktop support.
• Effectively liaising with staff at all levels, external service providers, and IT specialists.

About You…
The successful Candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
• Strong ability to manage the provision of technical and operational advice and support for ICT software systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a capacity for lateral and creative thinking.
• Effective supervisory and service delivery management skills.
• Outstanding collaborative and interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with management, external service providers, and IT specialists.
• Ability to liaise with clients to discern specific needs and develop appropriate responses.
• Advanced technical skills in the setup and operation of ICT technologies.
• Thorough knowledge of systems security, administration, and change processes in IT systems.
• Demonstrated awareness of current and emerging ICT technology trends and practices.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, information technology, or a related field.

Benefits & Culture

• Full time hours working 37.5 hrs per week
• $74.25 to $90 p/hr + Super
• 18-mths contract commencing May 2024
