Site WHS Advisor Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Vet, implement and maintain all health and safety policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and requirements for the Project.
- Role accountabilities : WHS, Quality, Environmental, safety and training management.
- Assist Site Supervisor in conducting pre-start and tool box meetings and safety inspections.
- Ensure all statutory reporting requirements are met.
- Be instrumental in maintaining a culture of care and safety on site, to prevent injury to personnel or damage to plant, equipment or environment.
- Ensure project specific WHSEQ Management Plans are reviewed as required by Project Teams.
Skills and Experience required:
- Significant experience in site safety management within the construction field
- Ideally to have progressed to a safety role from a construction trades industry background (Larger civil and infrastructure projects)
- Cert IV OHS
- Cert IV TAE
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Lead Auditor (desirable)
- Computer proficiency and reporting skills
- Current driving licence and construction industry card
