We are currently seeking a Workshop Engineer to join the Field Service and Workshop team in Huntingwood, Sydney.
Your Role: Powering Progress Behind the Scenes As a Workshop Engineer, you'll be the technical force behind the overhaul and repair of world-class 4-stroke engines. From cylinder heads to turbochargers, you'll work with precision equipment and diagnostic tools to restore and maintain critical engine components - all while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Core Hours
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Additional hours may be required on weekdays or weekends based on operational demand
What You'll Tackle
• Overhaul and repair of engine components: cylinder heads, pistons, liners, connecting rods, valves, fuel injectors, and more
• Use of diagnostic and machining equipment including honing machines, valve grinders, ultrasonic cleaners, MPI, turbo balancing systems, CPM, drilling and milling tools
• Preparation of detailed service reports and maintenance documentation
• Independent execution of assignments after onboarding, within a supportive team culture
• Complying with all safety and environmental procedures and guidelines
What You Bring
• Certificate III in Marine Mechanical Technology or a comparable qualification (e.g., diesel mechanic) with relevant experience
• At least 2 years in the repair and overhaul of reciprocating engines
• Technical expertise in turbochargers, fuel systems, heat exchangers, and associated engine systems
• A valid Australian driver's license
• Commitment to precision work and continuous learning
Work Environment & Travel
• Primarily based in the Huntingwood workshop, focusing on individual engine components
• Approximately 10% travel may be required for domestic and offshore assignments
