Role: FT and permanent RECEPTIONIST
Location: Newton (100% office-based position)
Industry: Construction Services
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm or 8.30am to 4.30pm with half hour lunch
Reporting to: Administration Manager
Typical Day to Day duties:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner
- Handle incoming and outgoing deliveries, mail, and courier services
- Scanning and filing of documents and completed job packs
- Prepare job packs and send purchase orders as directed by the office or project managers
- Support accounts and administration team as required
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the reception and shared areas
- Monitor and order office and kitchen supplies
- Interact with tradespeople, clients, suppliers, and administrative staff
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- At least 6 months of experience working in an office environment as a receptionist and/or administrator
- Experience with MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Previous experience with MYOB is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
- A keen, enthusiastic and can do' attitude
- Driver/own vehicle - Please note that the office is based on an industrial estate, and is therefore not so easily accessible via public transport
