Camp Coordinator - FIFO 5:2 / 4:3 roster ex Darwin

A prominent Northern Territory project is seeking an accomplished and experienced hands‑on Camp Coordinator to oversee daily operations and administration at a remote work camp. This pivotal leadership role manages hospitality, cleaning, accommodation, transport, and HR functions, supporting a workforce of up to 140 personnel.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate camp operations, including staffing, catering, maintenance, and cleaning.
  • Manage logistics and supply chains for food, materials, and equipment.
  • Oversee flight schedules, accommodation allocations and camp maintenance.
  • Handle admin and HR functions including contracts, payroll processing and records management.
  • Support safety and environmental standards, championing a proactive HSE culture.
  • Mentor and develop local employees, supporting skills growth and community engagement.

Qualifications and certifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in camp or hospitality management, logistics, or remote operations.
  • Tertiary or trade qualifications in administration, finance, HR or project management.
  • Valid C-Class driver's licence (mandatory).
  • Certificates (or ability to obtain):
1. Food Safety Supervisor
2. Senior First Aid & CPR
3. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Highly regarded:
  • HR driver's licence
  • Forklift ticket
  • Drug & Alcohol Testing certification (HLTPAT010 or HLTPAT005)

Skills and qualities:
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving ability.
  • Proven experience improving cost efficiency, service quality and safety performance.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems advantageous. Ability to work effectively in remote environments and foster a positive team culture.
