Red Appointments is seeking a proactive Communications & Partnerships Specialist to help drive internal communication, enhance staff engagement, and contribute to meaningful community partnership activities within a fast paced Corporate Affairs team.

About the Role

You will drive internal communication strategies, contribute to community focused programs, and help ensure consistent, on brand messaging across all communication channels.

Duties & Responsibilities
Communications & Engagement
• Develop and implement internal communication and engagement initiatives.
• Produce engaging content that celebrates staff achievements and organisational milestones.
• Support delivery of community partnerships activities, events, and initiatives.

Content Development
• Create material suitable for use across multiple internal platforms.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and communication standards.

Stakeholder Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and leadership groups.
• Respond to communication needs and provide professional advice where required.

Strategic Support
• Provide updates on emerging issues, risks and opportunities.
• Support planning, resourcing and budget considerations for communication activities.

Compliance & Culture
• Work in accordance with organisational values, safety standards and communication frameworks.

What You Need to Succeed
Essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in clear, simple language.
• Experience delivering communication or engagement strategies that support cultural or organisational outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Experience working collaboratively within a team.

Desirable
• Qualifications in communications, journalism, marketing, events or public relations.
• Internal communications experience.
• Understanding of organisational communications in government, corporate or utility environments.
