About the Role
Develop and maintain ISO 45001‑compliant documentation, ensuring alignment with certification requirements, WHS legislation and audit standards.
In this project‑focused position, you will lead the development, refinement and finalisation of a complete suite of ISO 45001‑aligned documents. Working closely with subject matter experts and business units, you will ensure documentation is operationally relevant, compliant and audit‑ready.
This role is a 6‑month contract, based in Darwin, with immediate commencement and potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Review ISO 45001 requirements and the client's document framework.
- Develop and finalise policies, procedures, work instructions, forms and supporting documents.
- Collaborate with SMEs and operational teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain document registers, version control and structured document governance.
- Prepare and submit audit evidence; respond to auditor queries.
- Update documents based on internal and external audit findings.
- Ensure documentation is current, accessible and compliant with ISO 45001 and WHS legislation.
- Support business units in maintaining and updating local safety documents.
- Deliver documentation required for:
Stage 2 Certification Audit - June 2026
Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement post‑certification.
About You
You will bring:
- Experience writing technical, safety, or operational documentation.
- Strong understanding of ISO 45001 or similar safety management systems.
- Knowledge of WHS legislative requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, structured approach.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with document control, audit evidence and revision cycles.
