What You'll be Doing
You will work as part of an experienced technical team, delivering safe, compliant, and reliable electrical services on overhead cranes and associated lifting systems. Work is primarily workshop based, with occasional site travel depending on client requirements.
- Electrical installation, servicing, and fault‑finding on overhead cranes, gantry cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
- Preventative maintenance, inspections, and compliance testing.
- Breakdown diagnostics and repairs to minimise downtime.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
- Ensuring all work complies with Australian Standards and WHS requirements.
- Completing accurate service and inspection documentation.
We'd Love to Hear From You If You have
- Current A‑Class Electrical License (SA)
- Electrical experience in industrial environments (cranes, manufacturing, mining, or heavy plant highly regarded)
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and compliance
- Current Driver's License
- White Card
- Experience with overhead cranes or lifting equipment
- EWP, Working at Heights, or High‑Risk licenses
- Willingness to upskill into specialist crane systems and inspections
