About the Role
As the Electrical Leading Hand, you will lead a small team of electricians and electrical assemblers while remaining actively hands‑on in electrical work. You will play a key role in coordinating daily activities, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and supporting supervisors to achieve project deadlines. This role is predominantly workshop‑based, with a strong focus on production, teamwork, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead and supervise a team of electricians on day‑to‑day tasks
-Provide hands‑on electrical trade support and technical guidance
-Allocate work and coordinate daily workflows
-Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and site procedures
-Monitor workmanship and support continuous improvement
-Act as a key communication link between trades and management
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
-Current Electrical Trade Licence (A-Grade)
-Proven Leadership experience
-Strong leadership and communication skills
-Solid understanding of electrical safety, compliance, and standards
-Ability to lead teams while remaining hands‑on
-Experience in manufacturing, switchboards, or industrial electrical environments (highly regarded)
