About the Role & Duties
Red Appointments are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team, working across industrial and site based environments. This role involves a mix of electrical maintenance, fault finding, control wiring, and installation work, with opportunities for away work and additional allowances.
All required training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded electrician who is keen to learn and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out inspection, testing, and fault finding on industrial electrical and control systems
  • Perform preventative, corrective, and reactive electrical maintenance on plant and equipment
  • Attend emergency breakdowns, diagnosing electrical faults and restoring equipment to service
  • Complete electrical repairs, upgrades, and new installations in accordance with drawings and specifications
  • Undertake control and panel wiring, including terminations and testing
  • Assist with field modernisations and equipment upgrades
  • Identify, source, and install electrical and control components such as motors, sensors, drives, and switchgear
  • Complete risk assessments, JHAs, and safety documentation to site and legislative requirements
  • Accurately complete job documentation, safety paperwork, and daily timesheets
  • Maintain a professional, safety focused, and customer oriented approach on site
  • Participate in toolbox talks, training sessions, and company meetings

About You
• Trade qualified Electrician
• Experience with industrial electrical work and control wiring (preferred)
• Mechanically minded with strong fault‑finding skills
• Quick learner with a positive attitude and willingness to be trained
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Requirements
• Current Australian Electrical Licence
• Working at heights
• High Risk WP licence
• Ability to pass a Police Check
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Working With Children Check
• Full Australian working rights
