Suit PM ready to step up to Ops Manager role, responsible for HV projects, services, maintenance across Perth, role located southern suburbs
Due to internal promotions, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced High Voltage Operations Manager to lead High Voltage Projects, Maintenance and Services works. This senior operational role offers autonomy, strong client exposure, and the chance to shape the future growth of a high-performing team.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Division Manager, you will oversee the safe, efficient, and commercially successful delivery of High Voltage works across Perth. You will lead a team of Project Managers and Supervisors while driving programme performance, risk management, client satisfaction and margin discipline. This role requires a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment, enjoys engaging directly with clients, and is committed to excellence in safety and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee High Voltage Projects and Maintenance operations
Provide day-to-day leadership for Project Managers and Supervisors
Ensure safe work practices and high-quality delivery across all projects
Manage programme performance, resource planning and commercial outcomes
Conduct work-in-progress reviews, forecasting and commercial risk management
Engage directly with key clients, resolving operational issues and maintaining strong relationships
Support division growth through margin discipline and proactive decision-making
Provide input into selected HV tenders and pricing reviews
Offer practical methodology, construction insights and resourcing advice
About You:
We are seeking a capable, confident operational leader who can deliver strong commercial and client outcomes. The role would suit a high-performing Project Manager or Senior Supervisor seeking a step up, or an existing Operations Manager from a smaller contractor.
You will bring:
Minimum 6 years High Voltage industry experience, including supervisory leadership
Strong operational delivery background across projects and/or maintenance
Demonstrated commercial acumen, including forecasting and margin awareness
Excellent stakeholder engagement and client-facing confidence
A leadership presence with high accountability and a proactive mindset
