Our client is seeking a customer focused and technically capable ICT Service Centre Officer to support day to day ICT services within a busy operational environment based in Darwin. This role is responsible for providing timely, accurate and professional ICT support to internal users, acting as the first point of contact for ICT enquiries.

You will work as part of a service driven ICT team, supporting a wide range of technologies while maintaining high standards of customer service, documentation and compliance. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys troubleshooting, helping others and working in a structured service environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for ICT incidents, requests and enquiries
  • Provide ICT support via phone, remote access and onsite assistance
  • Log, track and resolve requests using an IT Service Management (ITSM) system
  • Support ICT procurement, account maintenance and administrative activities
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, knowledge articles and procedures
  • Liaise with internal ICT teams and external service providers
  • Deliver services in line with agreed service levels and customer expectations
  • Follow safety, governance and organisational policies at all times
About You - Essential
  • Experience working in an ICT service desk or customer service environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support non technical users
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Proven problem solving skills with a logical and methodical approach
  • Experience supporting ICT hardware, software and mobile devices
  • At least two years' experience using an ITSM tool (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira, Alloy)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Desirable
  • ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL practices
  • Experience working in a large, regulated or operational organisation
  • Exposure to utility, government or infrastructure environments
  • Experience supporting a broad and geographically dispersed user base
