About the Role & Duties
RED Appointments are seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to oversee and support a team of Service Technicians delivering industrial service work at customer sites.

This role is responsible for coordinating daily field operations, providing technical guidance, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will act as a key point of contact between technicians, planners, management, contractors, and customers while maintaining strong safety, quality, and performance outcomes.
Key duties include:
• Supervising and supporting Service Technicians and subcontractors in the field
• Leading field projects including modernisations and refurbishments
• Planning and prioritising work to ensure service deadlines are met
• Providing hands on technical guidance and troubleshooting complex issues
• Monitoring quality through regular audits and site inspections
• Promoting a strong safety culture and reporting incidents and near misses
• Coordinating internal resources and external contractors
• Approving time sheets and ensuring accurate time recording
• Supporting pricing, quoting, and scoping of large or complex works
• Maintaining strong customer relationships and acting as a technical point of contact
• Ensuring work is completed in accordance with Australian Standards

Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have the following:
• Electrical Licence or Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Current Australian Driver Licence
• Working at Heights competency
• Broad knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
• Demonstrated experience supervising technicians or small field teams
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage priorities and coordinate resources effectively
