About the Role & Duties
RED Appointments are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Service Technician for a role based at Export Park, South Australia.
This position involves carrying out inspection, maintenance, repair, modernisation, and installation work on industrial lifting and materials handling equipment. You will work independently on standard equipment while maintaining high safety, quality, and customer service standards.

Duties include:
• Carrying out thorough inspection services on standard industrial equipment
• Performing preventative and reactive maintenance
• Attending emergency breakdowns and fault finding to restore equipment to service
• Carrying out repairs, field modernisations, and installation work
• Identifying, sourcing, and installing required parts
• Providing repair and modernisation solutions to customers
• Completing risk assessments and safety reviews
• Accurately completing job documentation, safety paperwork, and daily timesheets
• Promoting a professional and customer focused approach on site
• Participating in training, toolbox talks, and company meetings

Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have the following:
• Electrical Licence or Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Current and valid Australian Driver Licence
• Broad knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
• Ability to work safely and independently
• Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
