About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumber to join our Facilities Maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and reliability of the hydro-mechanical systems and services associated with the airports terminals, buildings, infrastructure primarily at Adelaide Airport, with occasional work at our Parafield site.
You will apply your technical expertise to support the preventative maintenance planning and lifecycle management of plumbing assets, contributing to the safe and efficient operations of airport facilities.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform routine maintenance to all plumbing, gas, and water systems all locations and equipment.
-Certify all plumbing work using the Electronic Certification of Compliance (eCoC) system.
-Ensure all tasks comply to both statutory regulations and airport policies and guidelines.
-Interpret technical drawings and implement maintenance procedures.
-Use computer-based systems for reporting, diagnostics and activity logs.
-Manage the lifecycle of all plumbing assets, identifying systems near end-of-life or requiring upgrades.
-Collaborate with facilities managers, contractors, and other trades to align maintenance with broader asset strategies.
-Identify assets that are near-end-life' or requiring upgrades.
-Support continuous improvement and contribute to a safe and inclusive working environment.

We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient professional with experience in large-scale operation facilities. You will be a team player with strong communication skills, attention to detail and customer focused mindset.

Essential
-Licenced Plumber and Gas Fitter (Advanced).
-High Risk Licence
-Driver's Licence
-Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills and abilities.
-Proven experience working in a commercial environment
-Sound understanding of Australian Standards and WHS practises.
-Technical understanding of plumbing systems and how they interact with broader infrastructure.
Desirable
-EWP Above 11 meters (desirable)
-Certificate III in Electrotechnology (desirable)
Note: Pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test and an aviation level security clearance will be part of the application process.
