DISCIPLINE: Mechanical (Mechanical Fitter experience required)

HOURS: Monday to Friday with paid overtime for call outs
(Paid weekend, public holiday and after‑hours work may be required)

About the Role:
Reporting to the Engineering & Reliability Manager, you will:
lead a small team of Fitters, Electricians, Trades Assistants and Apprentices across two sites (main site 30 mins drive south if Perth CBD).
This hands‑on role covers preventative and reactive maintenance, breakdowns, equipment upgrades, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
Day to day duties:
- Allocate and track daily tasks via MEX
- Oversee maintenance operations and ensure WHS & quality compliance
- Assess and maintain site assets
- Coordinate contractors and support vendor compliance
- Provide hands‑on maintenance support as required
- Mechanical fitter trade qualification
- (Electrical trade experience in food processing environment, can also be considered)
- 3+ years' maintenance supervisory experience
- Experience with MEX or similar systems
- Strong WHS knowledge and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and support a busy team
