RED Appointments is proud to announce its membership and support of the Australian Subcontractors Association (ASA). As both a member and a sponsor we are excited to contribute to the industry, support its members and promote the values that the ASA upholds for subcontractors across Australia.
The purpose of the ASA is to raise awareness of unfair and one-sided contractual arrangements for subcontractors that is biased in sharing risk between businesses. In many cases the subcontractor is at the end of the line of a business project, and may stand to carry most, if not all of the risk.
The ASA works together with Contractors, Builders, Architects, Engineers and other Industry Associations, to positively promote fair practices and trade in the industry. This will allow smaller businesses and contractors to grow and remain sustainable making the entire construction industry.
Aside from representing the interests of subcontractors the ASA also provides its industry members with many benefits including discounted recruitment and labour hire from RED Appointments, legal services, PPSR, insurance, WHS and training. RED Appointments recommends subcontractors apply for membership and reap the rewards.
