Located close to Lonsdale, structural Steel fabrication and install, suit Boiler Maker/welder who has progressed to PM and has project managed heavy industry/structural steel projects
Hours: MON FRI - 38 hr working week
Location: Fabrication facilities/Workshop located close to Lonsdale and occasional on-site visits during installation phase
Projects: Predominantly structural steel shafts, beams, columns heavy fabrication
Working for a well-established mining services and civil infrastructure services contractor, this Project Manager role will involve working predominantly at workshop with adhoc visits to site (usually at Olympic Dam - paid and accommodation provided.
You will project manage across the whole life cycle from tender, contract, project win, fabrication stages, onsite installation stages and project close out and handover.

Skills / Experience required:
- You will have progressed from a trades background as a boilermaker or welder into a Project Manager role and you will have experience in heavy industry structural steel fabrication and installation
- Project management experience across the whole project life cycle
- Strong understanding of workshop operations and structural steel manufacturing/fabrication processes
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Travel: This role is predominantly based at the the workshop near Lonsdale with sporadic ad-hoc trips to site usually to Olympic Dam
