RED Appointments is partnering with a high-quality client to recruit Security Technicians for major security and cabling projects across Adelaide. This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy clean, well‑organised work and being part of a professional team delivering high‑spec outcomes.
The work is primarily based across Department of Education sites, requiring a polished, safety‑aware approach and strong communication skills.
About the Role
You'll be part of a dedicated team delivering high‑end security infrastructure across multiple sites. The role focuses on commercial cabling and device fit‑off, with a consistent workload and no long‑distance travel.
- Running structured cabling in commercial environments
- Installing and fitting off security devices (CCTV, access control, related systems)
- Following technical specifications and security standards
- Working safely around active sites, pedestrians, and public spaces
- Collaborating with a team to deliver large‑scale projects efficiently
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates who bring:
- A current Security Licence
- Strong high‑end cabling experience
- Experience working in commercial environments
- Strong spatial awareness and safety mindset
- Clear communication skills and professional presentation
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work as part of a team
Required / Highly Regarded:
- Open Cabling Licence
- White Card
- Experience with CCTV, security, or structured cabling
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation
