About the Role & Duties
RED Appointments are partnering with a well-established energy contractor specialising in commercial and utility-scale solar and battery storage solutions. We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrician / Leading Hand to join their solar and battery division in a permanent, full-time role based in Metro Adelaide.
This role suits an electrician who has hands-on experience delivering, inspecting and signing off commercial and large-scale solar and battery installations, including 50-100kW systems and above, with exposure to high-voltage and grid-connected environments.
You will play a key leadership role within a 12-15 person delivery team, overseeing works, supporting apprentices and electricians, and ensuring projects are completed safely, compliantly and to a high standard.
Key duties include:
• Installation, inspection and sign-off of commercial solar and battery systems
• Leading site teams
• HV/LV terminations, testing and commissioning
• Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and network requirements
• Liaising with project managers and engineers
• Maintaining a strong safety and quality culture

Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
• SA Unrestricted Electrical Licence
• White Card
• LVR/CPR (within 12 months)
• Solar accreditation
• Battery accreditation
• Current driver's licence
• Working at Heights (desirable)
• Experience in commercial, C&I or grid-scale solar and BESS projects
• Previous leading hand or supervisory experience
