RED Appointments is looking for a Service Specialist to become the go-to technical expert for our client's service network across Australia and New Zealand. This is a corporate-technical hybrid role, perfect for someone who loves complex diagnostics, solving problems others can't, and influencing long-term product improvements. About the Role
You'll support our client's Service Agents, Sales teams, and global suppliers by providing high-level technical troubleshooting, analysing field failures, and driving product improvements, working from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4.30pm.
Key Responsibilities
·Provide advanced technical support via phone, email, and remote diagnostics
·Develop Service Bulletins, Technical Memos, and repair procedures
·Conduct root-cause analysis and identify recurring technical issues
·Prepare monthly reports on service trends and failure data
·Assess and process warranty claims
·Liaise with global suppliers on technical issues and engineering solutions
·Escalate critical safety or performance concerns
What You'll Bring
·Strong electrical/electronic diagnostic skills (industrial electronics, power sources, control systems)
·Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics
·Electrical Licence highly regarded
·Welding industry experience (MIG, TIG, Engine Drives) beneficial but not required
·Excellent communication skills - calm under pressure, strong de-escalation ability
·Clear technical writing skills for reports and bulletins
·Ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences
·Self-driven, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
