About the Role & Duties:
Our client is a trusted national leader in transportable switchrooms, LV/HV Switchrooms, protection systems and turnkey electrical solutions, with over 90 years of industry experience. Their facility produces high-reliability systems for mining, power generation, renewables, water, heavy industry and more.
They're seeking qualified Switchboard Electrician to support the increase project demands across fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing, and commissioning of modular and custom-built electrical switchgear.
Responsibilities:
As a switchboard electrician, you will be responsible for:
-Building and wiring LV switchboards, PLC/ Marshalling panels, and modular/custom switchboard assemblies.
-Installing and integrating electrical components to engineering specifications.
-Working on transportable switchrooms, including complete electrical fit outs.
-Conduction functional testing, quality checks, and assisting in commissioning.
-Interpreting electricals drawings, schematics, and layouts.
-Maintaining safety, compliance, and workmanship standards in accordance with industry regulations.
Required skills and experiences.
-A-class Electrical license
-White Card
-High Risk - Desirable
-CPR/ LVR Certification
-HV Switching accreditation.
-Experience working within a similar role
